Shapeways: Print and Sell Your 3D

Shapeways is every Industrial Design students dream. Shapeways is a company dedicated to providing an easy way to get your 3d models printed and in your hands in no less than 10 days (unless you choose to build it out of metal in which case it'll take 14 days).

Shapeways will actually help you calculate how much your model will cost before you print it and give you tips on how to do it in the most cost effective manner. You have multiple materials to make your model from including a rarely seen full color spectrum sandstone, which would allow you to print your models in any color you wish. Cost range from .99 cm3 to $10.00 a cm3 for stainless steel.

Shapeways also allows you to sell your work to the community at a price you set, taking care of all the dirty work for you (printing, shipping, etc.).
